StampyStamp was founded as a way of tracking digital loyalty rewards for coffee shops and other retail merchants to help reduce paper waste associated with cardboard based loyalty cards.

Increasingly people do everything on their phones today, including paying for things. As such there is less of a need to carry a wallet anymore leaving no where to keep cardboard loyalty cards. Even with cardboard cards, they tend to fill up your wallet, get lost, left at home, or in the car, and aren't on hand be used at the shop.
